Amazon Prime members are constantly gaining first-right access to amazing perks. What started as a yearly fee for free expedited shipping has quickly turned into everything from original music and free ebooks to free media streaming. While drone deliveries aren’t here quite yet, Prime members should be looking to the streets of New York for Amazon’s latest innovation.
Amazon reported that the company will experiment with one-hour deliveries via bike messengers in NYC. That’s right: amidst the futuristic land of bots, Amazon is kicking it back, old-school style. The service is dubbed ‘Amazon Prime Now’ and will be tested in Manhattan among 3 different bike-based courier services.
We’re all for any advancements allowing our clients to get orders to Prime customers even faster.
Does all this talk of delivery make anyone want to order a pizza? Good thing Amazon is working on that one as well.
